A leading corporate event management company known for delivering exceptional conferences, product launches, corporate offsites, award ceremonies, and brand experiences for reputed clients across industries. We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales professional to join our growing team and drive business growth through strong corporate relationships.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales professional with a proven track record in generating corporate leads and managing B2B client relationships in the events, hospitality, or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building a strong corporate client pipeline, and converting leads into long term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, generate, and qualify corporate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate clients across industries (IT, BFSI, FMCG, Manufacturing, etc.).
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers such as HR Heads, Admin Heads, CXOs, and Marketing Managers.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with the operations/creative team to prepare customized event proposals and pitches.
Prepare and present compelling sales presentations, quotations, and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals while maintaining healthy profit margins.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
Maintain an updated database of leads, prospects, and clients using CRM tools.
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities in the corporate events space.
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums to generate new business.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction leading to repeat business and referrals. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, production, creative) to ensure smooth execution of sold events.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (MBA preferred).

5+ years of proven experience in corporate sales, preferably within the event management, hospitality, MICE, or advertising industry.

Demonstrated ability to generate and convert corporate leads.

Strong existing network of corporate contacts is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships. Target-driven with a proactive, self-motivated approach to work.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively under pressure.

Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.

Preferred Attributes

Prior experience working with a corporate event management, exhibition, or MICE company.

Understanding of end-to-end event lifecycle (concept, planning, execution). A go-getter attitude with strong business acumen.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
