Finance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Finance Manager with a minimum of 10 + years above of post-qualification experience to oversee the organization's financial operations, statutory compliance, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Payroll, Financial Statements, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Management, and Finalization of Accounts. Experience in handling multiple branches and leading a finance team will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Finalize accounts, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
- Prepare financial reports for management review and decision-making.
GST & Taxation
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
- Reconcile GST input and output tax liabilities.
- Handle GST assessments, audits, notices, and departmental queries.
- Ensure proper compliance with GST laws and amendments.
- Verify GST compliance across all business transactions.
TDS & Income Tax
- Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS.
- File quarterly TDS returns accurately.
- Issue TDS certificates to vendors and employees.
- Handle Income Tax compliance and coordinate with tax consultants.
- Maintain statutory records related to direct taxation.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Analyze monthly Profit & Loss statements.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost control.
- Conduct variance analysis between budget and actual performance.
- Recommend financial improvements to enhance profitability.
Budgeting & Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure.
- Support strategic financial planning and business expansion.
Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate Internal Audit and Statutory Audit.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors, bankers, and government authorities.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
- Supervise payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory deductions.
- Verify salary statements before disbursement.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Monitor receivables and collections.
- Supervise vendor payments.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts.
- Improve cash collection processes.
Banking & Treasury
- Manage banking operations and relationships.
- Handle bank reconciliations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate loan documentation and banking facilities.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.
- Allocate work and monitor team performance.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- CA / CMA (Preferred) or M.Com / MBA (Finance).
- Minimum 10+ years above of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in independently handling Finalization of Accounts.
- Strong exposure to GST, TDS, Income Tax, Payroll, Budgeting, MIS, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in handling multi-location finance operations is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Expertise in preparing and finalizing Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, Zoho Books, or other ERP software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Financial Functions, Dashboards).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the Education, Aviation, Healthcare, or Service Industry.
- Experience managing finance for multiple branches or locations.
- Exposure to ERP implementation and process automation.

- Timely finalization of monthly and annual financial statements.
- 100% statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
- Accurate MIS and management reporting.

- Reduction in outstanding receivables and financial risks.
This role requires a highly organized finance professional capable of ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, strategic financial planning, and effective team leadership while supporting the organization's overall business objectives.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
