Full job description

Accounting Operations

· Assist in the recording and posting of accounting transactions.

· Verify vouchers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.

· Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

· Support day-to-day accounting activities and financial data management.

1.2, Reconciliation & Verification

· Perform bank reconciliations on a timely basis.

· Assist in vendor, customer, and inter-branch reconciliations.

· Identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.

1.3, Statutory Compliance

· Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.

· Maintain compliance-related records and documentation.

· Support the preparation and submission of statutory reports as required.

1.4, Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain proper filing and safeguarding of financial documents.

· Assist in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and statements.

· Ensure all records are updated and available for review when required.

1.5, Audit & Internal Controls

· Support internal and external audit processes.

· Provide necessary documentation and information during audits.

· Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.

1.6, Coordination

· Coordinate with internal departments for collection and verification of financial information.

· Support the Finance Manager in various accounting and financial activities as assigned.

1.7, Required Knowledge & Skills

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.

· Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance procedures.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

· Strong analytical and numerical skills.

· Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

· High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

· Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.

1.8, General Expectations

· Maintain professionalism and integrity in all financial matters.

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness in assigned tasks.

· Follow departmental procedures and reporting requirements.

· Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to organizational processes.The Accounts Trainee will assist the Finance & Accounts Department in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory compliance requirements, performing reconciliations, and ensuring timely processing of accounting transactions. The role requires attention to detail, analytical ability, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
