Your new role
As an Advanced Business Analyst in our SAP Finance Solutions team, you will design, configure and support end-to-end SAP FI/CO solutions that keep our global finance operations running smoothly. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver quick, efficient and accurate solutions to operations and maintenance challenges, while contributing to strategic projects on our SAP S/4HANA landscape.
Day-to-day, your tasks will include:
- Managing multiple ledgers within the general ledger using a parallel accounting model in line with New GL rules, including document splitting, GL-based posting, and configuration of company codes, profit centre hierarchies and reconciliation accounts
- Designing and configuring SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Banking) and its integration with MM/IM, SD and PP – covering Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Material Pricing and Month-End Closing
- Supporting Fixed Assets, Invoice Workflow, Controlling/Planning and (as a plus) Product Costing, COPA and Material Ledger
- Designing and managing SAP Finance workflows, and supporting interfaces and IDocs to other SAP modules
- Working on prioritised change requests, participating in daily stand-ups, iteration and retrospective meetings, and taking part in testing, batch job assessments and ER session reviews
- Providing hyper-care support post go-live for new projects, coordinating with vendors and developing documentation and training for end users
- Supporting SAP Accounts Receivable, Consolidation and integration topics across the finance landscape

Within Enterprise IT & Quality sits our SAP Finance Solutions department, based at our Global Business Services (GBS) centre in Bangalore. We provide system support for Novo Nordisk's end-to-end finance processes – ensuring R2R, P2P, O2C and related solutions are stable, secure and optimised so the business can operate efficiently across countries and functions. We operate with an enterprise mindset, focusing on scalable, long-term solutions and a trust-based culture where open dialogue, learning and psychological safety drive performance.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced and motivated SAP Finance professional who thrives on complex challenges and enjoys collaborating across a truly global organisation. To succeed in this role, you bring:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, an MBA in Finance or a similar discipline
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience as an SAP Finance consultant, with proven experience designing and implementing SAP FI solutions and managing complex SAP integrations
- Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance, with hands-on experience in security, roles and permissions, and data governance within SAP FI environments; experience with BTP is required, and Group Reporting, GTS, Withholding Tax and DRC are a plus
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and audit-compliant system design, and experience working in a service-level-based organisation
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, and a business-oriented, flexible, team-player mindset
