Job Summary
The PGT ICT Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based ICT education to secondary and senior secondary students in accordance with the school's curriculum and international best practices. The role involves fostering digital literacy, computational thinking, coding, and responsible technology use while integrating technology across subject areas to enhance teaching and learning.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ICT lessons using student-centered teaching methodologies.
- Teach topics such as computer science, programming, digital literacy, databases, networking, web technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies as appropriate to the curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Incorporate project-based, inquiry-based, and experiential learning strategies.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Curriculum Planning
- Develop annual, term-wise, and weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Design engaging classroom activities, practical sessions, and interdisciplinary projects.
- Review and update instructional materials to reflect current technological developments.
- Support integration of ICT across all academic subjects.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
- Analyze assessment data to improve student learning outcomes.
Technology Integration
- Support teachers in effectively integrating technology into classroom instruction.
- Recommend and implement digital tools and educational technologies.
- Promote responsible digital citizenship and online safety.
Classroom & Lab Management
- Maintain a safe, organized, and effective ICT laboratory environment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of computers, software, and ICT resources.
- Coordinate with the IT department regarding hardware and software requirements.
Student Development
- Mentor students in coding competitions, hackathons, robotics, STEM initiatives, and technology clubs.
- Guide students on digital portfolios, innovation projects, and research activities.
- Encourage ethical and responsible use of technology.
Professional Development
- Participate in school training programs, workshops, and professional learning communities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and innovative teaching practices.
- Pursue continuous professional development in ICT education.
Parent & School Engagement
- Communicate student progress effectively with parents.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, exhibitions, and academic initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's technology initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or as required by applicable regulations).
- Relevant teaching certification for international curricula is an advantage.
Experience
- 3–7 years of teaching experience in ICT/Computer Science at the senior secondary level.
- Experience in an international school (IB, Cambridge, or other international curriculum) is preferred.
- Experience with blended learning and educational technology platforms is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Database concepts (SQL).
- Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Cloud computing fundamentals.
- AI tools for education.
- Cybersecurity and digital citizenship.
- Robotics, coding platforms, and STEM technologies (preferred).

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
