Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Content Writer Lead who can take complete ownership of our content function. This is not just a writing role you will be responsible for planning content strategies, auditing existing content, mentoring writers, ensuring quality standards, and driving SEO-focused content initiatives.

You should have exceptional writing and editing skills, a strong understanding of SEO, and the ability to lead content projects from ideation to publication while maintaining consistency across all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities Content Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business and marketing goals.
Create monthly content calendars for blogs, landing pages, case studies, and website content.
Conduct competitor and keyword research to identify content opportunities.
Plan content based on SEO insights, audience intent, and business objectives.

Content Writing & Editing

Write high-quality, well-researched, and engaging content for websites, blogs, landing pages, case studies, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
Review, edit, and proofread all content before publication.
Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, grammar, and messaging across all channels.
Rewrite and improve existing content wherever required.

Content Auditing & Quality Assurance

Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated, duplicate, thin, or underperforming content.
Evaluate website content for readability, SEO optimization, user intent, and conversion opportunities.
Recommend improvements based on analytics, user behaviour, and search performance.
Ensure all published content follows content quality guidelines and editorial standards.
Maintain content documentation and quality checklists.

SEO & Performance Optimization

Optimize content using advanced SEO best practices.
Work closely with the SEO team to improve rankings and organic traffic.
Create keyword clusters, internal linking strategies, and content briefs.
Monitor content performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
Suggest updates based on ranking trends and performance metrics.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor junior content writers and interns.
Assign writing projects and review deliverables.
Provide constructive feedback and maintain writing quality standards.
Collaborate with SEO, UI/UX, Design, Development, and Marketing teams.
Ensure timely delivery of all content projects.

Requirements

3–5 years of professional content writing experience.
At least 1–2 years of experience leading or mentoring a content team.
Excellent command of written English, grammar, vocabulary, and storytelling.
Strong understanding of SEO content strategy and search intent.
Experience in content auditing and content optimization.
Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong research, analytical, and editorial skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
