Full job description

Pragati EcoSolar has an established residential rooftop solar business under the PM Surya Ghar scheme. We are now building out our commercial and industrial (C&I) solar segment — targeting factories, warehouses, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, offices, and other commercial establishments across Odisha. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing commercial solar rooftop/ground-mount projects, building a B2B and B2Cclient pipeline, and establishing Pragati EcoSolar as a trusted commercial solar EPC partner in the state.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate leads in the commercial/industrial segment (factories, MSMEs, hospitality, healthcare, education, corporate offices) across Odisha
Build and manage a B2B sales pipeline from lead generation through site visit, proposal, negotiation, and closure
Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, ROI/payback calculations, and net-metering benefit illustrations to prospective commercial clients
Coordinate with the technical/design team for site assessments and system sizing
Liaise with DISCOMs and relevant authorities on net metering/open access processes for commercial accounts as needed
Negotiate commercial terms, PPAs/CAPEX-OPEX models (if applicable), and close sales contracts
Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in CRM (Zoho CRM)
Build relationships with industry associations, real estate developers, facility managers, and channel partners to generate referrals
Represent Pragati EcoSolar at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (capacity installed in kW/MW and revenue)
Provide market feedback on competitor pricing, customer objections, and product-market fit to leadership

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
