Role Overview
As a Software & Mobile QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and enterprise software throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will work closely with Product Designers, Developers, Project Managers, and clients to ensure every feature is thoroughly tested before release.
Beyond identifying bugs, you will help improve product quality by validating business workflows, edge cases, usability, performance, and release readiness. You will also be encouraged to use AI tools to accelerate test planning, test case generation, documentation, and defect analysis.
You will be part of the Technology Team, working from our Mumbai Office based out in Ghatkopar East. from Monday to Saturday - 930am to 630pm, 2nd & 4th Saturdays will be holiday.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Review requirements for clarity and testability.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and enterprise software.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Validate business workflows, calculations, permissions, approvals, and edge cases.
- Perform responsive testing across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Test Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Verify UI consistency and collaborate with Product Designers on UX quality.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Log, track, and verify defects using project management tools.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, investigate, and validate bug fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, UAT, and release activities.
- Prepare release verification reports and QA sign-off documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
