Job Summary of Project coordinator-Interior

PRIORITY:CANDIDATE WHO HAS INTERIOR EXPERIENCE OR RETAIL SHOP FITTING FIXTURES EXPERIENE

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all project-related activities from project initiation to handover. The role ensures smooth communication among clients, project managers, site engineers, designers, vendors, and internal departments to complete projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Coordination

Coordinate project activities from project kick-off to completion.
Prepare project schedules and monitor daily progress.
Follow up with site teams regarding work status.
Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and accounts departments.
Ensure project milestones are achieved as per schedule.

2. Communication

Act as the communication bridge between clients, project managers, site engineers, vendors, and internal departments.
Schedule project meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
Follow up on pending action items until closure.
Provide regular project status updates to management.

3. Documentation

Maintain project files and records.
Prepare work orders, project reports, checklists, and documentation.
Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
Organize approvals and project correspondence.

4. Material & Procurement Coordination

Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material requirements.
Track material delivery schedules.
Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.
Follow up with vendors regarding deliveries.

5. Site Coordination

Coordinate with Site Engineers for manpower, materials, and work progress.
Monitor installation schedules.
Resolve coordination issues between departments.
Escalate project risks and delays to the Project Manager.

6. Client Coordination

Arrange client meetings when required.
Collect approvals for drawings, materials, and samples.
Handle client queries and ensure timely responses.
Support successful project handover.

7. Project Monitoring

Track project timelines and identify delays.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Maintain project dashboards and MIS reports.
Assist in project closure documentation.

8. Quality & Compliance

Ensure documentation complies with company standards.
Coordinate inspections and quality checks.
Support adherence to safety and company procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out, Retail Interiors, Commercial Interiors, or Construction Projects.

Required Skills
