Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) Senior Consultant / Lead with 10+ years of SAP FICO experience, including strong expertise in SAP CO-PA and SAP S/4HANA Finance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in leading end-to-end implementations, rollouts, migrations, and support projects with deep knowledge of Account-Based CO-PA, Costing-Based CO-PA, profitability reporting, and integration with Finance and Logistics modules.

The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize profitability analysis processes while providing leadership during implementation and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP CO-PA implementation, rollout, and support projects.
Conduct business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
Configure and support Account-Based CO-PA and Costing-Based CO-PA.
Design and maintain:
Operating Concern
Characteristics
Value Fields
Derivation Rules
Valuation Strategies
PA Transfer Structures
Configure profitability segment reporting and reconciliation with Financial Accounting.
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to CO-PA.
Work closely with business users to improve profitability reporting and financial analysis.
Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Security, and integration teams for solution delivery.
Support SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare, and production support.
Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership across project teams.
Ensure project deliverables are completed within timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

10+ years of SAP FICO experience with 5+ years of specialized experience in SAP CO-PA.
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration projects.
Expertise in:
Account-Based CO-PA
Costing-Based CO-PA
Profitability Analysis
Operating Concern Configuration
Characteristics & Value Fields
Derivation Strategies
Valuation Strategies
PA Transfer Structures
Profitability Segment Reporting
Strong knowledge of:
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
Internal Orders
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Product Costing (CO-PC)
Material Ledger & Actual Costing
Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
Financial Closing Activities
Strong integration knowledge with:
SAP FI
SAP SD
SAP MM
SAP PP
SAP PS
Experience with SAP Fiori applications for Finance and Controlling.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and profitability analysis.
Ability to troubleshoot complex CO-PA and financial integration issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
SAP S/4HANA Finance or Management Accounting Certification is preferred.
Experience leading multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
Experience in global rollout and support engagements.
Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.

Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
