Senior ERP Solution Consultant
Experience: 4–7 years | Location: Ahmedabad / Client Location / Hybrid
Role Overview
The Senior ERPNext Solution Consultant independently designs and delivers integrated ERPNext solutions by combining strong business-process knowledge with hands-on ERPNext and Frappe technical capability.
The position owns assigned modules or solution workstreams and translates business requirements into process designs, ERPNext configurations, customizations, workflows, reports, scripts, APIs, integrations and data-migration plans.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design
Lead requirement-gathering workshops for assigned modules or workstreams.
Analyse current processes, controls, exceptions and reporting requirements.
Prepare future-state processes and ERPNext solution designs.
Conduct fit-gap analysis between requirements and standard ERPNext functionality.
Determine whether a requirement should be handled through:
Standard configuration
Workflow or report
Script or customization
Custom Frappe application
API integration
Business-process change
Prepare functional-technical design documents and acceptance criteria.
ERPNext and Frappe Delivery
Independently configure multiple ERPNext modules.
Design complex roles, permissions, approval workflows and transaction flows.
Develop or guide Python scripts, JavaScript scripts, reports and print formats.
Design and support APIs and third-party integrations.
Review custom DocTypes, hooks, events and Frappe application structures.
Troubleshoot cross-module, data, configuration and technical issues.
Review work completed by trainee and G2 consultants.
Estimation and Planning
Prepare task-level and workstream-level effort estimates.
Define assumptions, dependencies, exclusions and delivery risks.
Support the Lead Consultant and Project Manager in preparing implementation plans.
Track delivery against effort and milestone commitments.
Identify scope changes and communicate their delivery impact.
Data, Testing and Go-Live
Define data-migration approach, templates and validation controls.
Coordinate data migration, reconciliation and sign-off.
Prepare test strategies and review test cases.
Lead solution demonstrations and support UAT.
Resolve critical defects and implementation issues.
Support go-live planning, cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
Client and Team Leadership
Act as the primary solution contact for assigned modules or workstreams.
Conduct client meetings, demonstrations and training.
Guide trainee and ERPNext Solution Consultants.
Coordinate with Functional Consulting, Engineering, QA, DevOps and PMO.
Contribute reusable scripts, templates, process assets and solution patterns.
Required Experience and Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in ERPNext and Frappe Framework.
Strong Python, JavaScript and SQL knowledge.
Experience across multiple ERPNext modules.
Experience designing workflows, reports, scripts, APIs and integrations.
Strong knowledge of data migration, permissions and cross-module transactions.
Ability to independently conduct discovery and solution-design workshops.
Experience estimating implementation and customization effort.
Strong client communication, documentation and mentoring skills.
Ability to resolve complex functional-technical issues.
