About iTech Business Solutions

iTech Business Solutions is a digital marketing agency based in Bhubaneswar, serving clients across Australia, the United States, Canada, South Africa, and India. We deliver SEO, website development, paid search, and content services to businesses that depend on us to grow their organic and paid visibility.

Our new business comes largely from international freelancing marketplaces and direct outreach. This role sits at the front of that engine.

About the role

We are hiring a Business Development Executive at fresher level to own our Upwork bidding and cold email outreach. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients: reading job posts, writing proposals, running email sequences, and booking discovery calls for the senior team.

This is a learning-heavy role. You will be trained on how agencies win international clients, what makes a proposal convert, and how SEO and web development services are positioned and priced. No prior agency experience is required, but you must be able to write clean, persuasive English.

What you will do

Monitor Upwork daily for relevant SEO, web development, and digital marketing job posts, and shortlist the ones worth bidding on
Write customised proposals for each shortlisted job, tailored to the client's stated problem instead of copy-pasted templates
Track connects spent, proposals sent, replies received, and hire rate in a weekly performance sheet
Build prospect lists using LinkedIn, Google Maps, Apollo, and similar sources, and verify email addresses before sending
Write and send cold email sequences, then manage follow-ups until the prospect replies or opts out
Handle first-response conversations: answer basic service questions, qualify budget and timeline, and book discovery calls for the senior team
Coordinate with the SEO and development teams to collect case studies, portfolio samples, and technical answers needed for proposals
Maintain the CRM and lead tracker so no conversation goes cold
Report weekly on pipeline movement: proposals sent, replies, calls booked, deals closed

What you need

Graduate in any discipline (BBA, MBA, B.Tech, MCA, BCA English all welcome)
Excellent written English. Grammar, clarity, and tone matter more than degree or college
Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, or a clear willingness to learn them quickly
Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, and email
Self-driven, organised, and able to work to daily and weekly targets
Available to work from our Bhubaneswar office

Nice to have

Prior exposure to Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or LinkedIn outreach, even personal or academic
An internship in sales, marketing, content writing, or customer support
Interest in SEO and how businesses get found online
