Role Purpose
We are looking for a detail-oriented QC/QA Engineer to test and validate SaaS products, web applications and mobile applications before release.
The role will be responsible for identifying functional, usability, security, performance and integration issues and ensuring that delivered features meet approved requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Test new features and product releases against approved requirements.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases and test checklists.
- Perform functional, regression and integration testing.
- Test web applications across different browsers and screen sizes.
- Test mobile applications across supported devices and operating systems.
- Identify, document and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Check user workflows from start to finish.
- Validate forms, permissions, roles, notifications, reports and data flows.
- Check API and database-related behaviour where required.
- Perform basic usability, accessibility and performance checks.
- Verify that UI implementation matches approved designs.
- Support release testing and production-readiness checks.
- Maintain QA documentation and test evidence.
- Work closely with Developers, Product Managers and UI/UX Designers.
- Escalate critical defects and release risks before deployment.

- Git/GitHub awareness is an advantage.

Automation Testing
Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is an advantage.
Candidates with experience in API automation, browser automation, mobile automation or CI-based testing will have an additional advantage.
Security & Quality Awareness
The candidate should be able to identify and report common application-quality and security risks, including:
- Incorrect access permissions
- Role/authorization issues
- Data exposure
- Authentication problems
- Input-validation issues
- Broken workflows
- Incorrect data handling
- Duplicate or inconsistent records
The candidate is not expected to act as a cybersecurity specialist, but must have strong security awareness during product testing.
Qualification & Experience
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Software Testing or equivalent practical experience preferred.
2+ years of relevant QA/QC or software testing experience preferred.
Candidates with a strong testing portfolio and demonstrable project experience may be considered without a formal degree.

Languages

Knowledge of one or more Indian regional languages is an advantage:
Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Assamese and other Indian regional languages.
Candidates who can communicate in multiple Indian languages will have an advantage.
