Full job description

We build products where the interface is the product. As our Frontend Developer, you will own how users experience everything we ship from layout and motion to 3D interactions and micro-animations. You are not a template implementer. You think about craft, you obsess over details, and you know the difference between a UI that works and a UI that feels alive. If you have built things that made people say 'how didyou do that?' this role is for you.

We value demonstrable creative output over credentials. Hackathon finalists, open-source contributors, and candidates with strong portfolios of shipped UI work are strongly encouraged to apply — regardless of degree status or years of experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

– Build and own the front-end layer of our web products using React.js and Next.js

– Design and implement rich UI animations using GSAP, Framer Motion, and CSS transitions

– Build immersive 3D web experiences using Three.js and React Three Fiber where the product calls for it

– Translate design specifications and product briefs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces

– Develop reusable, accessible component libraries using Tailwind CSS, Shadcn, and Material UI

– Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and handle real-time data in the UI layer

– Contribute to mobile product development using Flutter — building cross-platform UI with state management

– Optimise front-end performance: load times, animation frame rates, bundle sizes, and Core Web Vitals

– Work directly with founders on product vision and translate ideas into interactive prototypes quickly

– Participate in design critiques and help raise the visual and interaction quality bar across the team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

– Proven, hands-on frontend experience — shipped products or strong portfolio of real projects

– Native fluency in React.js and Tailwind CSS; you don't reach for a template when you can build it better

– A genuine feel for motion and interaction design — you know when an animation adds value and when it doesn't

– Ability to work with Three.js and React Three Fiber to create 3D web experiences

– Experience with GSAP and Framer Motion for production-grade animation work

– Strong eye for UI detail — typography, spacing, colour, and visual hierarchy matter to you

– Comfortable working with Flutter for mobile surfaces — or a strong appetite to do so

– Someone who ships — you move from idea to working interface fast, without sacrificing quality

– Hackathon experience, open-source contributions, or a portfolio that shows creative range is a strong plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Own the front-end experience of the product — from component architecture to final visual polish

– Build and maintain a shared component library that keeps UI consistent across the product

– Collaborate with the full stack team to ensure smooth API integration and state management

– Take ownership of animation and interaction systems — define how the product moves and responds

– Contribute to mobile UI development using Flutter as product surfaces expand

– Proactively identify and fix performance bottlenecks, visual inconsistencies, and accessibility gaps

– Document component usage, design decisions, and integration patterns for the wider team
