Digital Marketing, SEO & Social Media Specialist

Job Type: Full-TimeWork Location: Work From Home / Remote – Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years Full-Time Professional Experience

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing, SEO & Social Media Specialist to manage the digital marketing and online presence of our Canadian businesses.

This is a hands-on, results-driven position. You will be responsible for SEO, Google marketing, paid advertising, social media management, content creation, ad creation and video editing.

We are looking for someone who can independently plan, create, execute and improve campaigns — not someone who requires step-by-step direction for every task.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & Google

Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve Google rankings.
Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles.
Perform local SEO, keyword research and competitor analysis.
Monitor and improve website SEO.
Manage Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Identify opportunities to increase organic website traffic and qualified leads.
Monitor rankings and provide regular performance reports.

Google & Meta Advertising

Create and manage Google Ads campaigns.
Create and manage Facebook and Instagram/Meta advertising campaigns.
Create advertising graphics, copy and other campaign content.
Develop and test different advertisements and audiences.
Monitor advertising budgets and campaign performance.
Optimize campaigns based on cost per lead, conversions and ROAS.
Set up and monitor conversion tracking.
Continuously test campaigns to improve results.

Social Media Management

Manage company Facebook, Instagram and other assigned social media accounts.
Plan and schedule social media content.
Create posts, advertisements, reels and other digital content.
Write clear and engaging captions and advertising copy.
Respond to or coordinate social media activity as directed by management.
Monitor trends and identify content opportunities relevant to our businesses.
Maintain a consistent and professional presence across company social media platforms.

Video & Content Creation

Edit short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram/Reels and advertising campaigns.
Create promotional videos from company-provided footage.
Add appropriate text, graphics, transitions, captions and other elements.
Create advertising graphics and basic marketing materials.
Resize and adapt content for different platforms.
Work with our media/content team when additional footage or creative assets are required.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in digital marketing, SEO, social media marketing or a closely related role.

Candidates should have strong practical experience with:

SEO and Local SEO
Google Business Profile
Google Ads
Facebook & Instagram/Meta Ads
Social media management
Ad creation
Video editing
Content creation
Google Analytics
Google Search Console
Google Tag Manager
Keyword research
Conversion tracking
Lead generation
Website and landing-page optimization

Experience managing digital marketing for businesses in Canada, the United States, UK or other international markets is considered an asset.

Work-From-Home Requirements

This is a full-time work-from-home position.

The successful candidate must have:

Their own suitable computer capable of performing digital marketing and video-editing duties.
Reliable high-speed internet access.
A smartphone suitable for regular work-related communication.
A professional and reasonably distraction-free work environment.
Ability to participate in scheduled online meetings and communicate with our Canadian management team.
Ability to reliably perform the agreed working schedule.

Followers, likes and views alone are not considered successful marketing performance. Our primary focus is qualified leads, customer acquisition, conversions, revenue and sustainable brand growth.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to:

Provide examples of previous work.
Provide a portfolio of advertisements, social media content or videos they have created.
Discuss previous SEO results and campaigns.
Explain Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns they have personally managed.
Complete a reasonable skills assessment relevant to the position.
Participate in an online interview.

The successful candidate may receive authorized access to company websites, advertising platforms, social media accounts, analytics systems and other digital resources.

All company accounts, advertising data, customer information, creative assets, business information and access credentials must be treated as confidential and used only for authorized company purposes.

Company digital assets and accounts will remain under company ownership and control. Access may be changed or withdrawn as required.

Additional confidentiality, intellectual-property, data-security and engagement terms will be addressed in the successful candidate’s applicable employment or service agreement.
