Job Summary

Melbix Software Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Support Engineer – .NET Application Support to join our team in Kochi.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, SQL Server, and IIS, along with experience supporting business-critical production applications and handling L2/L3 incidents.

The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting application, API, database, integration, and performance issues and working with Development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure timely resolution of production incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 production support for .NET applications.
Troubleshoot application, API, database, integration, and performance issues.
Handle critical production incidents and coordinate service restoration.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and high-impact issues.
Monitor application health and proactively identify potential failures.
Troubleshoot APIs, integrations, application logs, and performance-related issues.
Support production deployments, releases, and rollback procedures.
Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.
Automate repetitive support and operational activities wherever possible.
Mentor junior support engineers and contribute to improving support processes.
Implement preventive and corrective actions based on RCA findings.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience in .NET Application Support / Production Support.
Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs.
Hands-on experience handling L2/L3 production support incidents.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
Experience with IIS and Windows-based application environments.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience troubleshooting APIs, integrations, application logs, and performance issues.
Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Understanding of production deployments, release support, and rollback procedures.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to handle critical production incidents and work under pressure.

Good to Have

Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) / monitoring tools.
Knowledge of hospitality applications and workflows.
Experience with systems such as PMS, POS, reservations, payments, billing, and third-party integrations.
Experience with automation and scripting for support activities.
Experience mentoring junior support engineers.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong ownership and accountability for production issues.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work in a production support environment and handle critical incidents when required.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
