Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier / Accounts Executive to join our Maruti Suzuki dealership. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in cashiering and accounts, preferably in the automobile dealership industry. The role involves managing daily cash collections, customer payments, accounting entries, bank transactions, and supporting the dealership's finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily cash collections and customer payments for vehicle sales, service, spare parts, accessories, and insurance.
Receive payments through cash, cheque, UPI, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment modes.
Issue receipts and ensure timely and accurate posting of all transactions.
Maintain the daily cash book and perform cash reconciliation.
Deposit daily collections into the bank and maintain related records.
Pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP and maintain accurate financial records.
Perform bank reconciliation and assist in month-end account closing.
Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents before processing transactions.
Coordinate with the Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Insurance, and Finance departments to ensure smooth payment processing.
Assist in maintaining customer account records and outstanding payment tracking.
Support statutory compliance by maintaining proper documentation for GST, TDS, and audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cashiering and accounting.
Experience in an automobile dealership, preferably a Maruti Suzuki dealership, will be highly preferred.
Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

Required Skills

Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in vehicle billing, service billing, spare parts billing, and customer payment handling.
Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of banking processes, daily cash closing, and reconciliation.
