Sales Associate – B2B Sales & Business Development

About the Opportunity

We are hiring for a fast-growing, technology-driven logistics company offering B2B logistics and supply-chain solutions across India.

The company works with businesses across e-commerce, retail, Q-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing and other industries requiring reliable and time-sensitive logistics solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Sales Associate who can independently identify new business opportunities, generate qualified B2B leads, connect with decision-makers, understand customer requirements, prepare proposals and quotations, and convert prospects into active clients.

This role involves end-to-end business development, from prospect identification and lead generation to sales conversion and client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Business Development

Identify and generate new B2B sales opportunities through multiple channels.
Prospect through LinkedIn, networking platforms, business databases and WhatsApp business groups.
Research industry exhibitions and trade shows to identify potential customers.
Identify relevant business opportunities in logistics, transportation, courier, warehousing and supply-chain segments.
Conduct cold calling and proactive outreach to prospective customers.
Research target companies and identify key decision-makers.

Prospect Qualification

Understand the prospect's business model and requirements.
Assess potential opportunities based on business needs, shipment volumes, geography and service requirements.
Identify decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Qualify leads and maintain a structured prospect database.
Track every opportunity through the sales pipeline.

Client Communication & Business Conversion

Communicate with prospects through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp and client meetings.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate internally to develop suitable solutions.
Prepare customized emails, proposals and service quotations.
Present the company's service capabilities to prospective clients.
Maintain consistent follow-ups until conversion.
Coordinate the client onboarding process after confirmation.

Sales Follow-up & Relationship Management

Maintain regular and systematic follow-ups with leads and prospects.
Schedule meetings, requirement discussions and service presentations.
Track quotations, negotiations, trials/pilots and conversion status.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.

CRM & Sales Reporting

Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, meetings, quotations and follow-ups.
Update the CRM and sales pipeline regularly.
Prepare weekly reports on:
New leads generated
Qualified leads
Meetings conducted
Quotations shared
Follow-ups pending
New clients onboarded
Expected business value
Ensure every qualified lead has a clearly defined next action.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly proactive and target-oriented.
Comfortable with cold calling and WhatsApp outreach.
Strong in verbal and written communication.
Experienced in B2B sales or business development.
Good at preparing professional emails, proposals and quotations.
Strong in follow-up and relationship management.
Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets and CRM tools.
Able to independently research companies and identify decision-makers.
Willing to attend networking events, exhibitions and client meetings.
Persistent, organized and commercially driven.
