Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or DevOps engineering, including 8+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
You will join a new Azure platform engineering squad responsible for building secure, scalable and reusable enterprise Azure capabilities as versioned platform products. These capabilities will include Azure landing zones, Terraform modules, policy baselines, standard compute images, CI/CD pipelines and self-service developer experiences.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you will own platform components end-to-end and contribute to establishing engineering standards, architecture practices and automation frameworks from the ground up.
Key ResponsibilitiesAzure Platform Engineering
- Design and implement enterprise Azure landing zone components.
- Build solutions for subscription vending, networking, identity integration, governance and security guardrails.
- Work with Azure Management Groups, Azure Policy, Entra ID and enterprise networking.
- Design and implement hub-and-spoke or vWAN networking architectures.
- Build secure-by-default and reusable Azure platform capabilities.
Terraform & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain production-grade Terraform modules.
- Build reusable, versioned and well-documented infrastructure components.
- Manage Terraform state and infrastructure lifecycle.
- Implement testing and validation practices for infrastructure code.
- Perform plan reviews and ensure infrastructure changes meet engineering and security standards.
CI/CD & Automation
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for infrastructure delivery.
- Integrate security scanning, policy validation, automated testing and cost controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement quality gates and pre-merge checks for infrastructure changes.
- Azure DevOps or GitLab CI experience is also relevant.
Azure Local & Hybrid Cloud
- Contribute to Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI platform engineering.
- Work with Azure Arc and hybrid-cloud automation.
- Extend Azure platform capabilities into private-cloud environments.
Standard Images
- Build and maintain pipelines for hardened and secure compute images.
- Automate image creation, testing, validation and publication.
- Establish repeatable standards for enterprise compute images.
Developer Self-Service
- Package platform capabilities into reusable self-service golden paths.
- Work with the Port.io developer portal to make platform products available through a centralized catalogue.
- Enable development teams to consume approved infrastructure capabilities with minimal manual intervention.
Engineering Standards & Leadership
- Establish coding, module structure, testing and documentation standards.
- Participate actively in design reviews and code reviews.
- Own platform components from design through development, testing, documentation and release.
- Mentor and guide mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Leads, Platform Architects and client stakeholders.
Required SkillsMust Have

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of secure-by-default infrastructure design.
- Experience with identity, least-privilege access, governance, policy enforcement and secrets management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is more than a traditional Azure administrator or DevOps engineer. The ideal candidate has strong Azure platform engineering and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise and understands how to build enterprise cloud capabilities as reusable, secure and self-service products.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of a platform component from architecture and implementation through testing, documentation, release and ongoing improvement.
Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
