Editing and Proofreading: Proofread and edit transcriptions for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and medical accuracy. Ensure all radiology reports comply with departmental and hospital standards.
Document Management: Organize and maintain radiology files and records, both digital and physical. Ensure timely and secure distribution of radiology reports to the appropriate departments and medical staff.
Communication: Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to clarify information and ensure report accuracy. Respond to inquiries from medical staff regarding the status of radiology reports.
Quality Control: Ensure reports are error-free, meet medical standards, and comply with confidentiality (HIPAA).
Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, often involving day, night, or rotational shifts.
Skills: Proficiency in medical transcription software and electronic health record systems is advantageous. Excellent understanding of medical terminology, particularly in radiology
