Job Description – Java Developer

Experience: 12 Years

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in backend development and modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.
Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure.
Develop event-driven applications using Kafka messaging.
Work with containerized applications using Kubernetes.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and high availability.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and Web Services (REST/JSON, SOAP).
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven messaging.
Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Good exposure to Azure Cloud services.
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and SDLC.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Docker and containerization.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
