Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Lead microservices and event-driven architecture initiatives
Perform code reviews and drive best engineering practices, testing, and performance optimization
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams for solution delivery
Mentor developers and support Agile delivery processes
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
Ensure security and compliance standards are followed

Requirements

6–8 years of Java development experience with 2+ years in a lead role
Strong expertise in Java 8/21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, JUnit, and Mockito
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and distributed systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
