Overview:
Location: Kolkata Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
We're looking for a results-driven and collaborative Delivery Manager to take end-to-end accountability for the delivery of a small to moderately complex product line or work stream. In this role, you'll partner closely with Product Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery plans are well-defined, progress is transparent, and outcomes are achieved predictably and with quality.
You'll bring a strong command of Agile and DevOps principles to drive delivery excellence, foster cross-team collaboration, and enable continuous improvement. Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to provide delivery insights — including capacity, predictability, and risk — that support the creation of realistic delivery plans aligned to business goals; maintain delivery alignment by monitoring team commitments and surfacing risks and dependencies early.

Provide visibility into delivery progress, risks, and outcomes through structured reporting and stakeholder communication, ensuring leadership and cross-functional partners remain informed and aligned at all times.

Proactively identify and communicate risks and impediments, facilitating resolution and escalating when needed to protect delivery outcomes and maintain forward momentum.

Ensure delivery activities align to required SDLC, quality, security, and compliance standards by providing visibility, coordination, and readiness checks that support efficient and predictable delivery.

Champion continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements that increase predictability, quality, and team engagement; facilitate cross-team alignment discussions related to dependencies, risks, and delivery plans.

Partner with Product leadership to align backlog priorities with delivery capacity, drive accountability for outcomes, and foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and results within the delivery organization.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with demonstrated experience leading delivery in a software or technology environment.

Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, and DevOps delivery models, with Agile certification(s) and/or proven experience in Agile delivery environments.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align leadership and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience managing delivery scope, dependencies, and timelines in complex, fast-paced environments.

Working knowledge of SDLC and compliance processes, with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery tools such as Jira or TFS; up to 10% travel time required.

Demonstrated proficiency with facilitation and influencing others, with strong project management skills and the ability to lead delivery efforts with minimal oversight.

Good analytical skills to define and refine the release process from planning through to software distribution.

Ability to use original thinking to translate delivery goals into new ideas and well-designed solutions.

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects to completion with appropriate oversight.

Excellent collaborative skills applied successfully within teams and across the organization, paired with a professional demeanor and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
