About the job:
We are seeking a hands-on Data & AI Product Expert to provide the technical data modeling & engineering and applied-AI capabilities behind Opella’s Sales and Revenue Growth Management data domains . Reporting to the Data & Analytics Lead – North America and partnering closely with the Data Product Lead – Revenue Growth Management, this role supplements existing deep RGM functional expertise on our team with strong technical depth in modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and emerging AI tooling . You will design and build the data models, pipelines, and AI-enabled solutions that power Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Trade Promotion Management (TPM), and Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) across our Fast-Moving Consumer Health (FMCH) / Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) business. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, eager to apply new AI capabilities, and comfortable turning RGM business requirements into well-engineered, AI-ready data products.
Main responsibilities:
O ptimize the RGM data foundation: design, develop, and maintain data models, pipelines, and semantic layers in Snowflake and Databricks that integrate the source data behind RGM , TPM , and TPO – including SAP ( invoice, sell-in), syndicated market data (sell-out), financial (cost and pricing), trade promotion data , leaflet/ flyer data , and master and mapping data (esp. customer and product ) .
Partner with the Revenue Growth Management Data Product Lead, translating business/ functional requirements and use cases into well-engineered, scalable technical solutions and acting as the technical modeler and builder behind RGM data product s .
Develop AI-enabled solutions – applying agentic and AI-assisted coding, AI workflow automation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) , and AI-ready sales data infrastructure to accelerate delivery, automate manual data processes, and unlock new analytics and self-service capabilities for RGM, TPM, and TPO.
Engineer for quality and traceability: perform source-to-target mapping, author functional and technical specifications, and conduct system integration and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT) to ensure data integrity and accuracy across RGM data products.
Enable insight and governance: build and maintain dashboards and ad-hoc reports (e.g., Power BI) on the RGM data foundation, and support data governance practices including data quality, lineage, and cataloging, collaborating with Data Architecture & Engineering and Commercial/RGM teams.
About you:
- 3–5 years of experience in data modeling/ engineering, analytics, or a similar hands-on technical data role (early-career to mid-level).
Hands-on data modeling and engineering with Snowflake and/or Databricks (preferred) – building pipelines, transformations, and semantic layers – backed by agentic coding, strong SQL and a working understanding of ETL/ELT, orchestration , and agentic workflows .
Familiarity with applied AI capabilities – agentic and AI-assisted coding, AI workflow automation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and building AI-ready data infrastructure.
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience, ideally with exposure to Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Trade Promotion Management (TPM), and/or Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) data , processes , and/or applications (e.g., XTEL) .
Working knowledge of CPG RGM data architecture and how it is assembled from SAP (invoice, sell-in), syndicated market data (sell-out), financial (cost and pricing), trade promotion data, leaflet/flyer data, and master and mapping data.
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and our RGM Data Product Lead in translat ing business and functional requirements into engineered solutions, with strong communication skills, a self-motivated and proactive mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and familiarity with Agile delivery .
