You’ll make a difference by:

Support with correct cost for 3rd party procurement scope while Bid preparation and contribute to increase the hit rate.
Identify Particular Procurement risks, opportunities, potential challenges, claims and market forces during the entire project, together with Global Commodity Management & GPPM, to avoid potential damage / exploit potential.
Preparation of Procurement plan BID & Execution. Analyzes scope of supply and contract agreements, carries out risk analyses and introduces negotiation recommendations.
Drives Procurement strategies in projects and ensures their implementation of KPI’s like CNI, CTG, E Bidding / Auction & PTE etc
Support in getting best rates during execution phase
Include supplier innovations, value engineering and preferred supplier/product portfolios that improve Siemens' cost position.
Use of various advance negotiation concept to identify right product at correct cost
Supplier Evaluation, Qualification, development and Management
Contract Mgmt.:
Ensure that major Procurement risks, changes to original scope of supply and potential claims (towards customers and suppliers) are covered in valid contracts. Ensure that contractual obligations (towards the customer that must be fulfilled by supplier) are covered in a way that mitigates the own risk exposure.
Be proactive and forward systematically all relevant Procurement information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants and relevant cross-functional partners up to date. Sensitize cross-functional partners for Procurement related practices processes and metrics.
Sound knowledge of Inco Terms, Taxation and levies applicable
Good understanding about Import/ Export Transaction.

Your success is grounded

Bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimum 8-10 years of experience
Strong knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes for IT infrastructure, industrial automation, and critically meaningful control center environments.
Detailed understanding of enterprise IT hardware including:
Servers
Storage systems (SAN, NAS, Backup Solutions)
Network equipment (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
Wireless infrastructure and network security solutions
Racks, PDUs, UPS systems, and data center infrastructure
Video wall systems, visualization platforms, operator workstations, and control room technologies
Structured cabling and fiber optic network systems
Understanding of SCADA, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and control center architecture is helpful.
Familiarity with leading OEMs and technology providers such as Cisco, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Barco, and similar vendors.

Software Procurement & Licensing Expertise

Strong knowledge of procurement and commercial management of:
Enterprise Software Solutions
Cybersecurity software
Database platforms
Virtualization solutions
Monitoring and Network Management tools
Video Management Systems (VMS)
COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) software products
SaaS, Subscription, and Perpetual Licensing Models
Understanding of software licensing structures, maintenance agreements, support contracts, renewal management, user-based and consumption-based licensing models.
Experience evaluating software commercial proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and software implementation contracts..
