Job Description – Project Manager (Civil)Job Summary

The Project Manager – Civil will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing civil construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within approved budget, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute civil construction projects from start to handover.
Prepare project schedules, manpower plans, material requirements, and execution strategies.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Monitor site progress, project milestones, quality, and overall productivity.
Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, work orders, and technical documents.
Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workforce.
Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
Monitor project costs, measurements, contractor bills, and budget utilization.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Identify project risks, resolve technical/site issues, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and project MIS.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final project handover.
Maintain proper project documentation and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Skills & Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in civil construction/project execution.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, BOQ, estimation, billing, and quantity measurement.
Experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, manpower, and site activities.
Good knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.

Timely completion of projects.
Budget and cost control.
Quality and safety compliance.
Achievement of project milestones.
Effective manpower and subcontractor management.
Client satisfaction and successful project handover.
