Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and technically skilled AutoCAD & SolidWorks Trainer (CADD Engineer) to join our training institute in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CAD software, engineering drawing concepts, and the ability to train students through practical, industry-oriented sessions.
This is an excellent opportunity for CAD professionals who enjoy teaching and mentoring aspiring engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and practical training in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks.
- Train students in drafting, 3D modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, surface modeling, and detailing.
- Explain engineering drawing concepts, GD&T, and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and project-based learning activities.
- Evaluate student performance through practical tests and provide technical guidance.
- Assist students with certification preparation, portfolio development, and placement readiness.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry practices.
- Maintain attendance records, batch schedules, and training documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Engineering Drawing and Design Principles
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CATIA, Creo, Revit, NX, or ANSYS (added advantage)
- Industrial design or manufacturing experience
- Previous training or teaching experience
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Production, Automobile, or a related Engineering discipline.
- CAD certifications will be an added advantage.
