Manager – Order Management & Operations

Location: Noida, India

Shift-Night

Working Hours: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM

About Us

We are a growing back-office operations company providing end-to-end operational support to leading US apparel and retail companies. Our team supports clients with ERP operations, order management, production coordination, EDI processing, inventory tracking, customer support, reporting, and supply chain administration.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our India operations team and ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely support for our US clients.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our back-office teams supporting US apparel customers.

This role focuses on operational excellence, team leadership, ERP process management, client coordination, KPI management, and continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in office operations, order management, ERP systems, customer coordination, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

Lead and manage a team of 20–30 back-office professionals.
Monitor daily productivity and workload distribution.
Conduct daily operational meetings.
Coach, mentor and develop team members.
Manage performance reviews and employee development.
Build SOPs and maintain operational discipline.

Operations Management

Manage day-to-day execution of:

Sales Order Processing
Purchase Order Processing
ERP Data Management
Item & Customer Master Maintenance
Production Coordination
Inventory & Allocation Monitoring
Shipment Tracking
Invoice Validation
Exception Management
Customer Requests
Operational Reporting

Client Coordination

Coordinate daily with:

US Sales Teams
US Operations Teams
Production Teams
Customer Service Teams
Internal India Teams

Ensure timely communication and resolution of operational issues.

ERP & System Management

Work extensively within ERP systems to:

Review transactions
Monitor pending work
Resolve operational exceptions
Ensure data accuracy
Review system reports
Improve operational workflows

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, BlueCherry, NetSuite or similar is preferred.

KPI Management

Monitor and improve KPIs including:

Order Processing Turnaround Time
SLA Compliance
Order Accuracy
Productivity
Error Rate
Customer Response Time
Team Performance
Daily Operational Reports

Process Improvement

Identify operational bottlenecks.
Improve existing workflows.
Reduce manual effort through automation.
Create SOPs and best practices.
Improve quality and productivity.

Customer Service

Handle client escalations professionally.
Provide timely updates to US team.

Preferred Experience

10–20 years of experience in Operations, Back-office, Shared Services, Supply Chain Operations, Commercial Operations, Customer Operations, or Order Management.
Experience supporting international customers, preferably US clients.
Experience working in ERP-based environments.
Experience managing office operations teams.
Exposure to apparel, retail, sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing support operations is an advantage but not mandatory.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or related field required.
