Position: Senior Accounts Executive

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and client accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

Role Summary

The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting functions, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, payroll support, client coordination, and finalization of accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple client accounts.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance

Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain books of accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.

Statutory Compliance

Prepare and file GST Returns, TDS Returns, and other statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Client Management

Handle multiple client accounts independently.
Respond to client queries related to accounting, taxation, and compliance.
Ensure timely completion of client deliverables.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Payroll & Financial Operations

Support payroll processing and statutory deductions.
Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims.
Monitor cash flow and vendor payments.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.

Team Coordination

Guide junior accountants and support the Accounts Manager.
Ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
Experience in finalization of accounts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently.
Good time management and attention to detail.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and MS Office.
Experience with ERP or Accounting Software is mandatory.
Knowledge of Zoho Finance applications will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
M.Com, MBA (Finance), CMA (Inter), or CA (Inter) will be an added advantage.

Experience

5 to 7 years of experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Operations.
Experience in CA Firms, Accounting Outsourcing, Consulting Firms, or Corporate Finance will be preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
Accuracy in financial reporting and statutory filings.
Client satisfaction and timely service delivery.
Audit readiness and compliance adherence.
Timely completion of MIS reports.
Quality and accuracy of accounting records.
