About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team. You may also interact with clients to understand the requirements of the product.
To be successful as a software tester, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and have up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design.
SHR products are often intricately integrated with our customer's sustainability strategy as well as their corporate branding, we have to pay close attention to our compatibility with various Microsoft Oce products and other API linkages, as well as their respective updates. It is up to the testing department to review those updates and install and test them in detail. As a software tester, you will work on products that cater to all account types and regions that the SuperHuman Race operates in.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze product requirements, business logic, and technical specs for web and mobile platforms.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, including test strategies for web, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Create reports with detailed and reusable test cases for functional, regression, performance, and UI testing.
- Perform functional, UI/UX, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing.
- Experience with agile test methodologies and continuous integration.
- Expert in Automation framework design experienced in Selenium is preferred.
- Programming skills like PHP, JS, or any scripting to support the automation team.
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members. Relentlessly and ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes including but not limited to a focus on First Time Quality, CAPA, RCA (5-Why, etc.), and RACI.
- Good experience in testing iPhone, Android, Web, and iPad applications.
- Prepare test cases and execute test cases.
- Defect logging and verification.
- Assist developers in recreating issues/defects.
- Must have good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Participate in test case automation (Selenium) and performance testing.
- Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing to identify security risks in web and mobile platforms.
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing during code deployments.
- Validate MySQL database operations (queries, data integrity, migrations) as per application workflows.
- Keep up-to-date with testing trends and Identify and implement improvements in testing methodologies and tools
- Expertise in testing REST APIs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience with Digital Testing Experience.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Analyze, interpret, and summarize test results and metrics and communicate to appropriate teams. Work with a strong collaborative Scrum team.
- Train, mentor, and influence other staff on software automation.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in PHP, JS, Postman, MySQL Workbench, Selenium for the web, Appium for mobile, and OOP concepts.
- Very good Experience in testing SAAS-based products deployed on the AWS cloud platform.
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
- Experience in using Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Good understanding of release processes.
- Experience in creating test strategies and manual test execution.
- Experience in working with source code control tools like Git, and GitLab CI.
- Good team player who can work with cross cultured geographically distributed teams.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, autonomous worker.
- Experience with Agile development methodology (SCRUM, Kanban).
- Create test plans based on information obtained from documentation and/or discussions with developers and architects. Create and maintain automated test suites and integrate them into existing test frameworks using development best practices Execute test suites; provide the first-level diagnosis of issue's root cause if possible.
- Provide updates to Project Management of test status in written form.
- Participate in the high-level estimation with the rest of the team.
- Generate appropriate documents and test reports post-execution.
- Communicate the progress of automated test development.
