Location: Kolkata | Work from Office
Experience: 6-8 Years

About the Role: Kofuku is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Sr Graphic Designer with a strong digital-first mindset. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience creating high-performing creatives for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, social media, performance marketing, and product communication.

This role requires someone who can translate brand strategy into compelling visual experiences, while working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design engaging creatives for digital marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
Create static and motion-ready assets for social media, performance marketing, CRM, websites, landing pages, and app promotions.
Lead and mentor junior graphic designers, providing creative guidance, feedback, and support to maintain consistency and improve the overall quality of design output.
Take ownership of end-to-end creative projects, from conceptualization and visual direction to final execution and delivery.
Establish and maintain creative standards, design systems, and visual guidelines across digital and marketing communications.
Review and provide constructive feedback on creative work produced by team members, ensuring alignment with brand identity, campaign objectives, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to creative strategy, campaign ideation, and visual storytelling.
Develop campaign concepts and visual identities aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Design digital assets including banners, infographics, presentations, emailers, app store creatives, and promotional materials.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Content, Product, and Growth teams to deliver high-quality creatives within timelines.
Ensure consistency of visual identity across all consumer touchpoints.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, AI-powered creative tools, and platform specific best practices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

6–8 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with digital-first or consumer internet brands.
Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, social media content, branding, and performance marketing creatives.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
Working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, or motion graphics is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of art fundamentals, composition, typography, layout, colour theory, visual storytelling, and UI-friendly design principles.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide designers and effectively manage creative priorities.
Strong conceptual thinking and art direction skills, with the ability to develop original visual concepts and translate ideas into compelling creative outputs.
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar creative tools is preferred.
A formal educational background in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative discipline is preferred.
Ability to interpret marketing briefs and convert them into impactful visual communication.

Preferred Background:

Experience working with startups, digital-first businesses, D2C brands, or consumer technology companies.
Exposure to performance marketing creatives, with an understanding of creative testing and optimization.
Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of designers in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Experience taking ownership of campaign-level creative direction and maintaining visual consistency across multiple platforms and formats.
Ability to balance creativity with business objectives and consumer insights.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
