Full job description

Location: Remote – Bengaluru, India
Experience: 12–18 Years

We are looking for an experienced MDM Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MDM architecture, T-SQL, Snowflake, Data Quality, Data Governance, and enterprise data platforms.

Key Requirements

12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Management, and MDM
7+ years of hands-on experience in MDM architecture, solution design, or implementation
10+ years of strong T-SQL experience
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and MDM solutions
Hands-on experience with at least one MDM platform: Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, Semarchy, Profisee, or Ataccama
Strong experience with Snowflake
Experience across multiple master-data domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, Employee, Location, and Finance
Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Stewardship, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
Experience developing architecture standards, reusable patterns, design principles, and technical roadmaps
Ability to lead architecture discussions with business stakeholders, data owners, technical teams, and enterprise architects

Key Responsibilities

MDM Strategy & Architecture

Define enterprise MDM strategy, standards, architecture, and implementation roadmap
Design end-to-end MDM architecture using Snowflake
Define current-state, transitional, and target-state architectures
Design master-data ingestion, standardization, matching, deduplication, survivorship, Golden Record, distribution, and governance capabilities
Define master entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, canonical structures, and systems of record
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Data Quality & Mastering

Define enterprise MDM data-quality strategy and frameworks
Lead source-system profiling and data-quality assessments
Design matching, deduplication, merging, and conflict-resolution strategies
Define survivorship rules, source priorities, and attribute-level precedence
Build and maintain Golden Record / Single Source of Truth solutions
Establish data-quality KPIs, scorecards, monitoring, cleansing, and remediation processes

Data Governance

Define and implement the MDM Data Governance Framework
Establish responsibilities for Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians, and Governance Councils
Define governance RACI, policies, standards, procedures, controls, KPIs, and SLAs
Establish metadata, business glossary, data lineage, and classification requirements
Define processes for master-data creation, approval, modification, remediation, and retirement
Integrate with governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview, where applicable

Security & Compliance

Define MDM security and role-based access-control architecture
Establish requirements for data privacy, masking, encryption, auditing, retention, archival, and deletion
Ensure sensitive and confidential master data is appropriately protected
Ensure MDM architecture complies with enterprise security and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with security and compliance teams on privacy, auditability, and regulatory controls

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
