Full job description

Position: Backend Engineeer
Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Candidates with full-stack exposure and experience working in a product-based company will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

Required Skills

1–2 years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Full Stack Engineer with exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Next.js, or similar).
Prior experience working in a product-based company.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
