We design and deliver meeting rooms, divisible conference spaces, lecture theatres, training rooms and collaboration environments using industry-leading AV technologies.
This is not a residential AV, CCTV or events role.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial AV System Designer to join our team on a full-time remote basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently designing professional AV systems, producing detailed technical documentation, and supporting project delivery in collaboration with our UK-based sales, engineering and project management teams.
This is not a drafting-only position. The candidate must be capable of independently designing systems from written scopes and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complete AV systems including audio, video, control and network infrastructure
- Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and StarDraw including:
- Signal flow diagrams
- Schematics
- Rack layouts
- Elevations
- Cable schedules
- Equipment layouts
- Develop system architecture including:
- DSP configuration concepts
- Microphone and loudspeaker selection
- Camera and display positioning
- Network topology
- Specify and design systems using:
- Q-SYS ecosystem
- Extron control and AV solutions
- Dante audio networking
- Select appropriate equipment to meet performance, budget and functional requirements
- Collaborate daily with UK-based sales, project managers and engineers
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases
- Maintain structured documentation and revision control
- Ensure designs are scalable, serviceable and commercially viable
Mandatory Industry Experience (Do Not Apply If Not Met)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a professional commercial AV integrator or AV consultancy
- Proven experience designing meeting rooms, divisible conference rooms, lecture theatres or training environments
- Experience independently creating signal flow diagrams
- Experience selecting DSPs, microphones, cameras, switchers and control systems
- Strong working knowledge of Q-SYS, Extron and Dante
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and StarDraw
Applications without commercial AV integration experience will not be considered.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Audio system design principles
- Video signal distribution
- AV control system architecture
- AV networking fundamentals
- Rack design and cable management best practice
- Ability to interpret written scopes and client requirements
- Understanding of structured cabling and AV over IP concepts
- Experience reviewing technical specifications and validating system performance
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Crestron, Biamp or AMX
- Experience with AV over IP platforms
- Knowledge of managed switches and VLAN configuration concepts
- CTS, CTS-D, Q-SYS or Dante certification
Working Arrangement
- Full-time remote position working directly with a UK AV integration company
- Working hours: 09:00 – 17:00 UK time
(Approximately 13:30 – 21:30 IST depending on daylight saving)
- Monday to Friday
- Daily collaboration with UK engineering and project teams

Salary
₹100,000 – ₹120,000 INR per month
(Dependent on experience and technical capability)
+ we will pay additional cost towards technology and licence 10% of total salary
