Full job description

Position: Python Developer Intern (Remote – Day Shift)

We are looking for a passionate and driven Python Developer Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in software development. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who wish to strengthen their skills in Python programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), while contributing to real-world projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Python-based applications.
Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles to develop clean, scalable, and modular code.
Solve programming challenges and optimize backend logic using Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
Contribute to backend development using Python framework FastAPI.
Support the development and integration of RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements.
Troubleshoot and debug software issues under the guidance of mentors.
Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB for data management.
Follow industry best practices for software development, testing, and version control.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge of Python programming.
Understanding of core OOPs concepts including classes, inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation.
Familiarity with key Data Structures & Algorithms such as arrays, stacks, queues, linked lists, trees, sorting, and searching.
Exposure to Python web frameworks such as FastAPI.(Mandatory)
Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Basic awareness of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an added advantage.
