Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Telecaller cum Junior Accountant who can effectively handle customer payment follow-ups while also assisting the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with customers, workers, site teams, and the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities1. Telecalling & Payment Follow-Up

Make regular calls to customers regarding pending and outstanding payments.
Follow up with customers and communicate payment due dates and outstanding amounts.
Coordinate with customers to obtain payment commitments and ensure timely collection.
Maintain records of customer calls, payment follow-ups, and collection status.
Maintain professional and polite communication with customers.

2. Junior Accounting Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Accountant in day-to-day accounting activities.
Prepare quotations as instructed by the management/senior accountant
Prepare and maintain daily site information and reports.
Collect and maintain workers' details and related records.
Prepare and issue invoices for balance and pending payments.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices, quotations, payment details, and other accounting records.
Assist in organizing and maintaining financial documents and records.
Support the Senior Accountant in routine accounting and administrative tasks.
Assist with GST-related documentation and filing activities under the guidance of the Senior Accountant/consultant.
Coordinate with relevant staff to collect the information and documents required for accounting and GST compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Familiarity with invoicing, quotations, payment follow-ups, and basic accounting documentation.
Basic understanding of GST and accounting procedures is preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and staff.
Good follow-up and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain records and complete tasks within deadlines.
Previous experience in telecalling, accounts, or customer payment follow-up will be an advantage.

Timely and effective follow-up of outstanding customer payments.
Accurate maintenance of payment and customer records.
Timely preparation of quotations and invoices.
Proper collection and maintenance of site and worker information.
Timely assistance with accounting and GST-related activities.
Effective coordination with customers, site staff, workers, and the accounts team.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be responsible, organized, confident in speaking with customers, and comfortable handling both telecalling and accounting-related tasks. The candidate should be willing to take ownership of payment follow-ups while supporting the Senior Accountant in daily accounting operations.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
