Position: HR Generalist

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Generalist who is passionate about human resources and eager to build a career in HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Role Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, HR operations, attendance management, employee engagement, documentation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition

Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and other recruitment channels.
Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
Schedule interviews and maintain interview trackers.
Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

Coordinate joining formalities and employee induction.
Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documents.
Manage employee exit formalities, including clearance and experience letters.

HR Operations

Maintain employee records and personnel files.
Manage attendance, leave records, and timesheets through HRMS.
Update employee information in HR systems.
Support payroll input preparation and HR documentation.

Employee Engagement

Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
Coordinate training programs and learning initiatives.
Support performance appraisal and employee feedback processes.

HR Compliance

Ensure adherence to company HR policies and procedures.
Assist in maintaining statutory records and compliance documentation.
Support HR audits and documentation requirements.

Administrative Support

Coordinate with internal departments on HR-related activities.
Prepare HR reports and maintain recruitment and employee MIS.
Handle general employee queries professionally and promptly.

Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Good organizational and coordination abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong follow-up and multitasking capabilities.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, filtering, reporting).
Experience with Zoho People or any HRMS will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with job portals such as Naukri, Indeed, and LinkedIn is preferred.

Educational Qualifications

Any Bachelor's Degree or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or any related discipline.
MBA (HR) or HR certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

Freshers with strong communication and coordination skills are encouraged to apply.
