Your role :
Formulate, establish, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate reporting
Review revenue accounting for Financial Services
Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and reporting
Ensure compliance with Ind AS/IGAAP for all group entities
Prepare quarterly/annual Financial Statements (Standalone and Consolidated) and ensure compliance with relevant statute
Ensure adequacy of NPA provisions in compliance with ECL norms
Support team with lending related Financial operations
Ensure that financial ratios are monitored regularly and are in line with regulatory requirements
Front end all audits and ensure timely closure
Ensure audit readiness
Support the organisation in creation of risk management framework
Review effectiveness of controls in relation to IFC compliances
Implementation of changes in Accounting Standards, Companies Act and other relevant statute
Lead accounting planning in relation to mergers and acquisitions
Systems & Processes would be an integral part of the role; ability to set up systems and establish robust and scalable processes with the appropriate risk mitigation to be put into place
Mentoring team members and guiding them in meeting team’s objective
Qualification
CA with 3-4 years of experience (Articleship preferably from Big 4 audit firms)
Experience in a NBFC controllership team or experience of auditing a NBFC/Bank (representing a Big 4)
Good understanding of NBFC compliances
Practical knowledge of Ind AS and IGAAP
Experience of setting up IFC framework
Experience of leading team of 3-4 members
