About the role
As the Delivery Manager, you’ll lead a team delivering Data Centre projects and services while driving the strategy of the Victorian Business unit.
You’ll take ownership of the strategic direction, operational delivery, and financial performance of the Delivery Line—working closely with Sales to grow the pipeline while ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to exceptional quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Set and execute the annual strategy for the Delivery Line
- Drive growth initiatives and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Present performance updates to the executive team
Financial Performance
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and profitability
- Oversee quoting, margins, and commercial outcomes
- Ensure accurate project documentation and contract compliance
Team Leadership & Culture
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence
- Lead effective communication across teams and clients
Technical & Industry Expertise
- Apply your structured cabling knowledge to guide delivery outcomes
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends
Project Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles
- Ensure seamless planning, scheduling, and execution
- Act as a key escalation point for clients
Resource & Operational Management
- Forecast and manage resources across projects
- Collaborate across business units to optimise delivery
- Support internal capability and leadership development
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure WHS and ISO compliance
- Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting
- Improve systems, tools, and processes.
What you’ll bring
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Digital Infrastructure & Structured Cabling
- Cabler’s Licence (ACMA) or Electrical Licence (preferred)
- White Card & current Driver’s Licence
- PRINCE2 or similar (desirable)
Experience
- Experience working in Data Centres and Telecommunications environments – Strongly preferred.
- Proven success delivering end-to-end projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong commercial, stakeholder, and risk management skills.
- Experience leading teams.
- Contractor-side experience is highly valued.
- Experience working with ISO standards, compliance frameworks, or quality management systems.
