Position: Web Designer Intern

Location: Sector 82, Mohali (Work from Office)

Internship Duration: 0–6 Months

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web pages while collaborating with the marketing and development teams to enhance the company's digital presence. This internship offers hands-on experience in website design, UI/UX principles, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and update responsive web pages and landing pages for the company website.
Create website layouts, banners, icons, and other web graphics.
Assist in improving website UI/UX for better user engagement and navigation.
Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to implement design updates.
Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and optimized across different browsers and devices.
Edit and optimize images, graphics, and multimedia content for web use.
Support website maintenance, content updates, and design improvements.
Research current web design trends, UI/UX best practices, and competitor websites.
Maintain consistency in branding, typography, and visual elements across digital platforms.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, Canva, or Illustrator.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
Basic understanding of JavaScript is an added advantage.
Creative thinking with a strong eye for design, typography, and color.
Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Eligibility

Graduates or related fields.
Passion for web design, UI/UX, and digital creativity.
A portfolio showcasing academic, freelance, or personal web design projects will be an added advantage.
