Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead Talent Acquisition and HR Operations while ensuring statutory compliance and smooth execution of all core HR functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, labour law compliance, statutory registrations, and HR policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract quality talent.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, consultants, and campus hiring.
- Screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, coordinate technical interviews, and negotiate offers.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
- Improve employer branding and candidate experience.
- Prepare recruitment MIS and hiring reports.
2. HR Operations
- Handle complete employee life cycle from onboarding to exit.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Issue Offer Letters, Appointment Letters, Confirmation Letters, Transfer Letters, Warning Letters, Experience Letters, Relieving Letters, and other HR documents.
- Maintain employee records and personnel files.
- Update and maintain HRMS and employee databases.
- Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
- Manage attendance, leave, probation, confirmation, and employee documentation.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
3. Payroll & Compensation
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with Finance/Accounts.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, reimbursements, incentives, and salary revisions.
- Ensure accurate Full & Final Settlement (F&F) processing.
- Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries promptly.
4. Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and employment regulations.
- Manage statutory registrations, renewals, amendments, and inspections.
- Handle compliances related to:
- EPF
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Shops & Establishments Act
- CLRA (where applicable)
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- Payment of Bonus Act
- Payment of Gratuity Act
- Maternity Benefit Act
- Equal Remuneration provisions
- POSH Act
- Code on Wages and other applicable Labour Codes
- Coordinate with labour consultants, government authorities, auditors, and legal advisors.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and returns.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory filings and documentation.
5. Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct counselling sessions and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and code of conduct.
- Promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
6. HR Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly HR dashboards and MIS reports.
- Maintain recruitment, attrition, attendance, leave, payroll, and compliance reports.
- Conduct HR audits and ensure documentation readiness.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Additional certifications in Labour Laws or Payroll will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
- Strong experience in payroll coordination and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling labour law registrations, inspections, and audits.
