Job Description (JD) – Placement Coordinator

Position: Placement Coordinator
Organization: Skills Root Edu Tech Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Gurgaon (Travel as per project requirements)
Department: Training & Placement
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)

Job Summary

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating placements of candidates trained under various skill development and government projects. The role involves employer engagement, organizing placement drives, maintaining placement records, coordinating with training teams, and ensuring placement targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with employers, corporate partners, and recruitment agencies.
Identify employment opportunities aligned with candidates' skills and qualifications.
Coordinate placement drives, job fairs, campus recruitment, and employer interactions.
Assist candidates with interview scheduling, resume preparation, and interview readiness.
Track placement targets and ensure timely achievement as per project guidelines.
Maintain candidate placement records, offer letters, joining status, and employer feedback.
Coordinate with project teams, trainers, and center managers for placement planning.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly placement MIS reports.
Conduct post-placement follow-ups for candidate retention and employer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with project and government reporting requirements.
Build long-term partnerships with industries for recurring hiring needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
MBA (HR/Marketing) will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–4 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, corporate relations, or skill development projects.
Experience in Government Skill Development Projects (NSDC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, CSR, or State Skill Missions) will be preferred.

Required Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Corporate networking and relationship management.
Knowledge of recruitment and placement processes.
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
Ability to prepare MIS reports and maintain placement documentation.
Good negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and placement targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in employer engagement and placement activities.
Strong understanding of employability and workforce requirements.
Willingness to travel for employer meetings and placement drives.
Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of monthly and quarterly placement targets.
Number of employer tie-ups and corporate partnerships established.
Candidate joining and retention rate.
Timely submission of placement MIS and project reports.
Employer satisfaction and repeat hiring.
Successful organization of placement drives and recruitment events.
