Front Desk Lead – KochiPods (Capsule Hotel)

Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

Company: KochiPods – Kerala's First Japanese Capsule Hotel

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Front Desk Lead to manage our reception operations and lead the front office team. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle guests with professionalism, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise daily front desk operations.

- Welcome guests and deliver an exceptional check-in and check-out experience.

- Handle reservations, billing, and payment collections.

- Manage OTA and direct bookings using the property management system.

- Ensure accurate records and daily reports.

- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.

- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Operations to ensure room readiness.

- Train, guide, and motivate front office staff.

- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and discipline.

Requirements

- Graduate in Hotel Management or any relevant degree.

- Minimum 2-6 years of front office experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

- Excellent communication in English and Malayalam (Hindi is an advantage).

- Good computer knowledge; experience with hotel PMS is preferred.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest service skills.

- Willing to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
