Site Supervisor / Site Engineer
Position Overview
We are looking for a Site Supervisor / Site Engineer to manage and supervise the on-site execution of adventure parks, recreational attractions and related infrastructure. The role will be responsible for coordinating manpower, contractors, materials and installation activities while ensuring that project work is completed as per approved drawings, quality standards, timelines and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on site execution experience and be comfortable working at outdoor project locations, including adventure parks, amusement/recreational facilities, resorts, hotels and other large-scale recreational projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Execution & Project Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day construction, fabrication and installation activities at project sites.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, designs, BOQs, specifications and project schedules.
- Coordinate installation of adventure attractions such as zip lines, giant swings, sky cycles, rope courses, obstacle courses, climbing structures, go-kart tracks and other recreational attractions.
- Monitor civil, structural, fabrication, electrical and mechanical works as applicable to the project.
- Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of different site activities.
- Monitor progress against project timelines and report delays or site-related challenges to the Project Manager.
2. Manpower & Contractor Management
- Supervise site workers, technicians, fabricators, contractors and subcontractors.
- Allocate manpower according to daily work requirements.
- Monitor productivity, attendance and work quality.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely execution of assigned activities.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and communicate work priorities and safety instructions.
3. Drawings & Technical Coordination
- Read and understand civil, structural and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for clarification of drawings and technical requirements.
- Take site measurements and verify dimensions, levels, alignments and installation locations.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and escalate them for resolution.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and site instructions.
4. Quality Control
- Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect fabrication, welding, anchoring, structural installation and other site activities.
- Check alignment, dimensions, levels, finishing and installation quality.
- Identify and rectify defects or non-conformities before project handover.
- Coordinate inspection and testing activities as required.
5. Safety Management
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety procedures and company safety standards.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and fall-protection equipment.
- Closely monitor work-at-height, lifting, rigging, scaffolding and other high-risk activities.
- Ensure safe installation practices for adventure attractions and structures.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses immediately.
- Support testing, inspection and commissioning of attractions before opening to customers.
6. Material & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate receipt, unloading, storage and movement of materials at site.
- Verify materials received against delivery challans/BOQ requirements.
- Maintain records of material consumption and site inventory.
- Raise material requirements in advance to avoid project delays.
- Minimize material wastage, damage and loss at site.
- reports and other project documentation.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager/Project Head.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–6 years of relevant site execution/supervision experience.
- Experience in construction, fabrication, structural installation, amusement parks, adventure parks, recreational projects, resorts or similar outdoor projects will be preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction drawings.
- Basic knowledge of civil and structural construction practices.
- Willingness to travel and stay at project sites across India.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
