Full job description

Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new customers in industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Generate leads through cold calling, customer visits, references, networking and online channels.
Conduct regular customer visits and understand their business and technical requirements.
Develop sales opportunities for PLC, HMI, SCADA, Industrial Automation, IoT and control solutions.
Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and technical proposals in coordination with the engineering team.
Follow up on quotations, negotiations and purchase orders.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop new accounts and expand business with existing customers.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update CRM/sales records.

Technical Customer Relationship Management

Understand customer applications, process requirements and automation challenges.
Discuss automation requirements involving:
PLC
HMI
SCADA
VFD / Drives
Sensors
Industrial Networking
Control Panels
Data Acquisition
Industrial IoT
Remote Monitoring
Machine / Plant Monitoring
Energy Monitoring
Act as the communication bridge between customers and the internal engineering/project team.
Coordinate technical discussions, site visits, demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities.
Understand existing customer systems and identify opportunities for automation upgrades and IoT integration.
Maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Market Development

Identify industries and applications where automation and IoT solutions can add value.
Research competitors, products and market trends.
Identify opportunities for retrofit, modernization and digitalization of existing industrial systems.
Develop relationships with OEMs, system integrators, panel builders, machine manufacturers and industrial end users.
Represent the company during customer meetings, exhibitions, seminars and technical events.

Required Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have a working understanding of some or most of the following:

PLC systems
HMI
SCADA
Industrial Automation
Electrical Control Systems
Control Panels
Sensors and instrumentation
VFD / AC Drives
Industrial communication protocols
Modbus / RS485 / Ethernet
Industrial IoT
Remote monitoring
Data acquisition
Machine automation
Basic electrical drawings and control schematics

Hands-on technical experience is an advantage, but the candidate does not necessarily need to be a senior automation engineer. Strong technical understanding combined with sales and customer-management ability is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
