Business Development Executive – IT Staffing & Recruitment

Working Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
Work Days: Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive with 2–3 years of experience in IT staffing and recruitment, with proven experience working with the Australian market.

This is a 100% remote position focused on generating new business, building relationships with Australian clients, and developing opportunities for IT staffing and recruitment services.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities within the Australian IT staffing and recruitment market.
Identify and engage potential clients, hiring managers, HR teams, procurement teams, MSPs, and RPOs.
Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian clients and prospects.
Understand client hiring requirements and work closely with the recruitment/delivery team to fulfil positions.
Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation to client acquisition.
Schedule client meetings and present recruitment/staffing solutions.
Negotiate commercial terms and support the onboarding of new clients.
Maintain and continuously develop a strong sales pipeline.
Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate client and sales activity records in the CRM.
Develop long-term relationships to generate repeat business and new hiring requirements.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in Business Development/Sales within IT Staffing or Recruitment.
Australian market experience is mandatory.
Proven experience generating IT staffing/recruitment leads and acquiring clients.
Strong understanding of the Australian IT recruitment and staffing landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and other lead-generation methods.
Strong target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Good understanding of IT technologies and recruitment terminology.

Preferred Experience

Existing network of Australian IT clients or hiring managers.
Experience selling contract, permanent, and contingent staffing solutions.
Exposure to MSP/RPO and vendor management environments.
Experience working with Australian technology companies, consulting firms, or enterprise organisations.
