Pentair Global Engineering Center (GEC), Noida drives innovation and sustainable product development by collaborating with and supporting Pentair Business Units worldwide through technical excellence.

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience to build cloud-native web applications on AWS. Working across the stack — JavaScript/TypeScript frontends and scalable backend services — the role owns features end-to-end, from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and support. The ideal candidate takes ownership of both frontend and backend with minimal onboarding, applying a strong full-stack mindset and solid AWS expertise within a collaborative Agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

Own features end-to-end — from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
Design and develop scalable, secure backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservices on AWS.
Integrate relational and NoSQL databases with efficient data models and queries.
Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js, integrated with APIs and cloud-based authentication.
Develop and operate applications on core AWS services, and build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
Configure monitoring and alerting, and troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across the full stack.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, review peers' code, and apply cloud security and AWS Well-Architected best practices.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
3–4 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

Required Skills:

Strong expertise in AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway/AppSync, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Cognito, SQS/SNS, and CloudFront.
Solid backend development: REST and GraphQL API design, microservices architecture, and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
Frontend development with React and Next.js, modern CSS, and component libraries.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across the stack, with Node.js (Express, Fastify, or NestJS).
Database integration with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB); ORMs such as Prisma or Sequelize.
CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or the Serverless Framework.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Additional skills:

Experience designing serverless, event-driven architectures on AWS.
Exposure to observability (CloudWatch) and code-quality gates (SonarQube, ESLint).
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect – Associate.
Ownership mindset, self-starter, and an effective team player in cross-functional Agile teams
