Inventory & Dispatch Assistant (Garment Manufacturing)

Location: Tughlakabad Extension, New Delhi

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on experience)

About MIRAY

MIRAY is a fast-growing women's fashion brand engaged in garment manufacturing and e-commerce. We are looking for a sincere, hardworking and organized Inventory & Dispatch Assistant to support our production, inventory and dispatch operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, takes ownership of their work and wants to grow with the company.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

Maintain a clean, organized and systematic inventory of finished garments.
Ensure every product is stored in its designated rack or storage location.
Arrange inventory by style, colour and size for easy identification.
Conduct regular stock counting and assist with inventory audits.
Report missing, damaged or misplaced inventory to the supervisor.
Ensure products are protected from dust and damage.

Dispatch Operations

Pick garments accurately against daily customer orders.
Coordinate with the Dispatch Executive for order processing.
Arrange products for packing and dispatch.
Hand over shipments to courier partners.
Ensure all customer orders are dispatched within the required timelines.

Production Coordination

Receive finished garments from the production team.
Verify quantities before transferring products to inventory.
Coordinate with the Production Supervisor regarding movement of goods between production and inventory.
Assist in organizing work-in-progress and finished products.

Returns Management

Receive returned shipments from courier partners.
Segregate returned products according to their condition.
Keep returns organized until they are inspected and approved for restocking.
Assist in updating inventory after returns are processed.

Fabrics & Accessories

Organize fabrics, trims and accessories in designated storage areas.
Maintain proper storage of buttons, zippers, eyelets, labels, laces, linings, threads and packaging materials.
Inform supervisors whenever stock levels are running low.

Housekeeping & Quality

Keep inventory and dispatch areas clean and well organized.
Fold garments neatly and maintain proper presentation.
Perform basic visual checks to identify stains, damages or defects before products are stored or dispatched.

Process Improvement

Suggest better methods for organizing inventory, storage, labelling and stock movement.
Help implement systems that improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Take ownership of keeping the inventory organized and ensuring products are easy to locate at all times.

Requirements

Minimum 10th or 12th Pass.
1–3 years of experience in a garment factory, apparel manufacturing unit, inventory, dispatch, warehouse or e-commerce operations is preferred.
Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.
Honest, disciplined and responsible.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physically fit and comfortable handling garments, cartons and inventory.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Preferred Candidates

Preference will be given to candidates residing near Tughlakabad Extension, Govindpuri, Kalkaji, Okhla, Badarpur, Sangam Vihar, Khanpur, Pul Prahladpur, Jasola, Sarita Vihar or nearby areas to minimize travel time.
