The channels have amassed lakhs of followers with dedicated efforts being put into further growth on YouTube , the mobile application and our paid courses.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Commerce Faculty will teach Business Studies and Business Laws for both PUC and CA Foundation Course (as applicable) on both the PARIKSHE App and our PUC Commerce YouTube Channel (will appear on screen and deliver content in a relatable and fun manner while keeping it detailed). They will also create learning resources such as chapter notes, assessments, question papers, etc. This specialisation requires you to have strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical knowledge in the mentioned subjects.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
The Commerce Faculty would be a person who:
● Is fluent in both Kannada and English
● Has excellent command over the subject matter (PUC level)
● Enjoys teaching and is excited about being in front of the camera!
● Is technologically fluent including working on office tools (MS Office and GSuite tools)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Online Video Lectures
- Planning and executing video lectures in both recorded and live formats
- Delivering the video lectures in a bilingual format with the medium of instruction being Kannada
- Delivering lectures catering to English Medium students
- Conducting live doubt solving sessions
- Implementing strategies to make the lectures engaging and improving student retention
- Planning and executing short form content for YouTube and Instagram
2. Content Planning and Creation:
- Preparing presentations for the video lessons in a bilingual format catering to English Medium students
- Creating supporting learning materials such as notes, worksheets, assessments and question banks
3. Ensuring Content Quality:
- Implementing most effective pedagogical techniques to maximise student learning
- Suggesting edits on recorded videos and reviewing final videos to ensure error-free content
- Ensuring consistency of content with brand guidelines
4. Other Program Responsibilities:
- Using designated tools for workflow management
- Whatsapp and Community engagement, answering to students queries etc.
- Collaborating with the product team on content design and strategy
- Collaborating with the marketing team on creating promotional content such as video ads, faculty live chat sessions etc.
- Contributing to other program responsibilities as and when required
5. Leadership and Academic Coordination (Growth Opportunity):
This role also presents an opportunity for Online Lecture Faculty to take on leadership responsibilities and grow within the organization. If the required skills are demonstrated, the candidate may lead the team of OLF’s and Subject Leads. Responsibilities include:
- Academic Coordination: Oversee and guide content alignment across team to ensure
pedagogical consistency.
- Faculty Leadership: Act as a mentor to junior faculty, helping them improve their teaching style and video presence.
- Training & Development: Conduct internal training sessions to enhance subject delivery and use of ed-tech tools.
- Performance Monitoring: Review faculty performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and tech teams to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
This leadership track will be offered based on experience, demonstrated skills, and performance within the role.
Technological Skills
- MS Office - Powerpoint, Word - basic proficiency is mandatory
- Google Apps – Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.
- Familiarity with work-management tools like Zoho is preferred but not required
- Previous experience with teaching on YouTube will be a plus
ELIGIBILITY
Proficiency in spoken and written Kannada is mandatory
Educational Qualifications: Post-Graduate in a related stream is mandatory
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of PUC level teaching experience is required (experience in coaching for CS/CA/ACCA is a plus)
OTHER DETAILS
Location: Bangalore (hybrid)
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
