Full job description

At Finxera, the QA department comprises talented, motivated engineers with technical ability, curiosity and analytical mind that aids quality delivery for new features, enhancements to the customers. The QA department works closely with the development, support, operations and product management team for clear understanding of the requirements and business use cases and then works on designing test strategy, documenting detailed test cases, executing test cases and automation for the features.

The job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time with quality and also handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast with quality. The individual is responsible for creating end-to-end test cases; executing the test plan. The analyst ensures that every phase and feature of the software is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.

Responsibilities

Qualifications/Criteria's

Creating test strategy document and test plan
Writing detailed test cases and organizing them such that they offer easy access, reusability
Creating automation sheets, executing them and analyzing the results
Manual Testing & Defect Tracking
Reporting daily work status to the reporting lead
Owning quality delivery for sprint planned features
Execute manual test cases and analyze results
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle

**Should have scored 70% & above in 10th and 12th grade.
A Minimum of an engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology or experience in software application testing.
Able to write basic My Sql queries.
Experience in automation testing and batch processing is a preferred skill.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work constructively with employees, stakeholders and management towards a common goal.
Test cases, bug tracking, functional testing, regression testing, manual, testing, software, analysis, automation, regression, reliability, performance, Black Box Testing, Test Execution, Defect Tracking, Test Estimation, Bug Tracking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a great teammate with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Experience in Ad-hoc, Black Box, White Box, Incremental Integration, Functional, Performance, Loading, Security, Compatibility, and Acceptance testing.
Experience in collaborating with other teams (development, product management, customer support).
